The Duke of Edinburgh’s Hillary Award is a global non-formal education framework, with more than 60 years of experience challenging young people to dream big and discover their potential.
The Award is an internationally recognised programme giving rangatahi the chance to develop skills, get physically active, give back and experience adventure.
Award Leaders, Award Units, Open Award Centres and Accredited Award Providers are all Award Deliverers. They help participants to access the life-changing experience of the Award – along with the mahi of Assessors, who help participants set goals and track their progress.
This Kete provides comprehensive resources for our community to equip and support their Award delivery and participation. The information containing polices, advice, tips, and guidance serves as a central reference point for the Award community.
