The Programme
Requirements
Young people are required to select an activity and follow it regularly for at least an hour per week in their leisure time over the following minimum periods of time:
Bronze choice is at least 3 months or 6 months.
Silver choice is at least 4 months or 6 months, or for direct Silver Entrants 12 months.
Gold choice is at least 5 months or 12 months or for direct Gold Entrants 18 months.
Participants must show improvement of overall performance, acquire knowledge of the rules and safety requirements and an appreciation of hazards involved in their chosen Physical Recreation.
Getting yourself involved in a physical activity may:
- start you on a life long interest in a new activity
- lead you to a healthier lifestyle
- introduce you to a new group of people
